The Rapid Support Forces:
"Our forces continued their victories today (Saturday) with the well-deserved liberation of the Al-Salak military base in the Blue Nile region.
This victory is part of the progress and opening up of important areas in the Blue Nile region. Our forces succeeded in destroying enemy defenses and extending their full control over the Al-Salak military zone, which represents an important step towards expansion into new areas.
Our forces inflicted a crushing defeat on the Islamic Movement militias and their mercenary allies, following lightning and surprise battles that forced the enemy to flee in the face of our advancing forces, resulting in heavy losses in human life and equipment. Our forces (Ashaws) were also able to assert complete control over the area, which is one of the most important towns in the Blue Nile region. Our forces seized large quantities of military equipment and ammunition (these are currently being counted). This heroic epic, written by our heroes of the Blue Nile, adds to the series of great victories won by our forces against the Burhan militias and their allies, the Islamic State, and the terrorist and mercenary brigades, heralding the imminent end of the terrorist gang's domination, restoring the will of the people, liberating the entire nation, and rebuilding Sudan on new, just foundations where there is no place for tyrants and supporters of racism."
